SPELL 336

Spell 336' essentially the same name as the band, is a somewhat dreamy/shoe-gaze sound. Their cut pop style is dressed in melodic guitars and vocals, but you won't find any constantly shifting time signatures, or any other "musical feats but this music is impressive.For me the tracks have an interesting atmosphere that surrounds the sound and the vocals have a haunting mysterious voice to accompany. This is pop music for the fall, for rainy days, for cloudy skies...In general the 'SPELL 336' EP is a five song EP of blissed-out swirling guitars reminiscent of early Cocteau Twins or Chameleons. The band is a two-piece living in California. It is fair to say that this EP has been a long time coming. SPELL 336 was formed in the early 90's by Paul Lopez.The group and their main influences are Shoegaze and Dreampop.
